The new Kat Von D Shade Light quad contour eyeshadow palettes are available at Sephora! The colors are rust, sage, plum, and smoke for 26.00 each. The packaging is the usual sleek black that Kat offers and are quite versatile.
A new collaboration by M.A.C has been announced and this one appeals to my childhood and nerdy side! MAC is celebrating with Star Trek their 50th anniversary and their powerful women with a limited edition collection in the Fall! The packaging has the Star Trek symbol and will have 25 different products including lipgloss and lipstick. Can't wait for this one!
Since it was just Easter my pick of the week is our favorite little egg, the Beauty Blender! I know this is not new to most of you but for those who have not tried it I'd like to tell you why it works for me. Firstly, I tried to avoid buying it believe me. I tried the Soho, Maybelline, Real Techniques, and some random Amazon knockoffs as well. Once I got my Beauty Blender there was no going back. As you guys know I have dry skin due to my anti aging Retin-A regimen and this is the only way I can apply foundation without my skin flaking while still getting the coverage I want. The best way for me is to spray it with fix plus and then dab my foundation in. It is soft and can get in my under eye area and the inner corners of my nose no problem. The holidays are the best times to get these as they always have amazing deals on them during that time. If you are a Costco member there have been sightings of them in store for 14.99! If not you can buy them at places like Sephora, HSN, and Macy's!

A new Mac collection, Future Mac is coming soon! This collection will include Mineralized lipsticks, Mineralize gloss, lustre drops,quad eyeshadow palettes, eye gloss, skinfinish, blushes, Technankohl liners, and nail lacquers. The collection is soft and perfect for spring with a focus on pinks and peaches. It is limited edition and will debit online on March 31st and in stores on April 7th!
For you Jeffree Star velour lipstick fans we have new colors coming soon! Jeffree announced two colors, Scorpio which is a smokey purple grey, and Rich Blood, a moussey Ruby red with fine glitter (similar to the le Holiday color Hoe Hoe Hoe). No official dates yet but they should be coming soon!
My pick of the week is something different today! Today I wanted to review the Swirl and Sparkle solid brush cleansers! They are solid cleaners that you use to clean your brushes! They come in several designs that are absolutely adorable and in different sizes. I dipped my brush in warm water, swirled it around the soap, then I swirled it on the diamond sugar lid which are great for breaking up gunk deep in the brush. I repeated this process once or twice depending on the brush and then rinsed them clean! They come in amazing scents like Rocky Road Brownie, Cherry Mist, and Chocolate Waffle Cone. The new Too Faced goodies are coming very soon! There will be the adorable Sweet Peach warm neutral palette that smells like peaches, a coconut body oil bronzer repromote, Mascara melt off which is an oil eye makeup remover, the new Better Than Sex Waterproof mascara, and a new Sweethearts Bronzer and a blush! They are also coming out with a deeper version of the Cocoa Contour palette which is my HG contour kit. They should be available March 17th on TooFaced.com. They are also expected to be available on Ulta.com starting April 9th, Sephora April 15th, and Macy’s May 15th.
For you Mac fans, or those wanting to try their shadows for the first time, I have great news! Mac dropped their pro single shadow pans unexpectedly from 10.00 to 6.00. The pick of the week is FeatherRiverBody Cosmetics! I got to test some of their shadows and they are beautiful. The ones I tried are in pressed form and are sold in pans that you can pop in your Z palette. My favorite is Caught, a metallic olive gold that is extremely pigmented. Formula wise they remind me of Makeup Geek’s formula which is a firmer but pigmented formula, compared to Kat Von D and Devinah Cosmetics which is a softer, buttery formula. Colourpop has done it again, this time in the form of brow products! They are coming out with a brand new line brow pencils for 5.00 and creme gel for 6.00 (think Anastasia brow whiz and dip brow). They are waterproof and contain vitamin E, are vegan, and there 8 shades in each collections. They are supposed to debut March 10th on Colourpop.com so keep a look out!
The new MAC Charlotte Olympia collection will debut online March 17th on MacCosmetics.com and select store on March 24th. The packaging is special edition with clear lipstick bullets, gold trim, and spiderweb details throughout the collection. The collection is quite a large range from lipsticks, blot paper, a makeup bag, mirror compact, and more! This looks like it will be a very popular collection which means it has a higher chance of selling out fast, so make sure to stalk early!
Urban Decay has previewed their summer collection and it is gorgeous! It will include 3 highlighters, 2 matte bronzes in beautiful compacts with palm tree prints, concealers, Naked Skin One & Done that has spf 20, and new eyeliners! There is no official date yet but it should be in the next couple months!

The Violet Voss Holy Grail palette has an official date! It will be up on March 3rd at 10am pst. If you haven't seen or heard of this palette yet it is a mix of warm neutrals, berries, and reds matte and shimmer. I was able to try this palette this week and it is very nice, it reminds me a bit of the Sephora Marsala palette and the Morphe 35o. The next Mac cosmetics Viva Glam lipstick collaboration has been announced and it is Caitlyn Jenner! The lipstick will be named Finally Free and is a mid toned rosy nude in the Cremesheen formula. 100% of the selling price goes to the M.A.C AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative to continue to support the transgender community. It will be available April 7th and will be 17.00.
My pick of the week is the Love Luxe Beauty custom magnetic palette! You guys have seen me post my C3po palette I received a week or so ago and I wanted to talk a little about them since I've gotten so many questions about them. They are magnetic so just like the Z palette you can pop any magnetic pan right into them. As for the custom design you can send her almost any image you like and she will work with you on designing it. She also has some cute stock images that will work as well. You can get them for 24.00 for the medium size and 40.00 for the large. She also makes some absolutely gorgeous highlighters that you should definitely check out!
